Optimal tests for continuous-variable quantum teleportation and photodetectors

Quantum teleportation is a primitive in several important applications, including quantum communication, computation, error correction, and networks. In this paper, we propose an optimal test for the performance of continuous-variable (CV) terms energy-constrained channel fidelity between ideal CV its experimental implementation. Work prior to ours considered suboptimal tests teleportation, focusing instead on particular states, such as ensembles coherent squeezed cat etc. Here, prove that state testing entangled superposition twin Fock states. We establish result by reducing problem estimating approximation quadratic program solving it. As additional result, obtain analytical solution diamond distance photodetector approximation. These results are relevant experiments make use photodetectors.
